Full SPDAT Training

This full SPDAT training provides a comprehensive overview of the Service Prioritization Decision Assistance Tool (SPDAT) and its role in coordinated entry systems. Participants will learn how to administer the SPDAT with fidelity, ensuring accurate and consistent assessments that support prioritization for housing and services.

The training covers the purpose and structure of the SPDAT, guidance on conducting trauma-informed and participant-centered conversations, and best practices for scoring and documentation. Participants will also explore how SPDAT results are used within the broader system to inform housing decisions and service planning.

By the end of the training, attendees will feel confident in administering the SPDAT, interpreting results, and applying the tool in a way that respects participants’ experiences while supporting equitable and data-informed decision-making.
